Course
Objectives:
There are
two main objectives for this course. First, it aims to introduce the key safety
elements of petroleum and liquid cargo handling in industrial port to
employees, and gives basic appreciation of potential hazards and controls that
may be encountered by personnel at their work places.
Moreover,
this model course aims to provide knowledge to those who may be designated to
perform the duties and responsibilities of a Port Security Officer (PSO), as
defined in section A/17 of the ISPS Code.
